GOLF COURSE

 

At last we are seeing an improvement in the weather, with the course steadily improving although still a little wet.

 

The distance markers are currently being installed and the 7^th green should be open shortly.

 

 

COMPETITIONS

 

The Winter League is now complete and congratulations go to all divisional winners.

 

The first competition is Sunday 4^th April.

 

 

SOCIAL

 

The poster is now up for the St George’s Day Quiz on Friday 23^rd April so please give this your support and let’s have a good turn out.

 

 

AGM

 

Monday 12^th April – please note jacket and tie to be worn.  Again let’s have a good turn out as this is your opportunity to ask any

 

 

questions you feel relevant regarding the running of the Golf Club.

 

 

GENERAL

 

There are just a couple of weeks left for you to try your luck on the raffle for a personal parking space from one year (to be drawn at the AGM) so dig deep for Club funds.  (Just to let you know that the parking spot is not by the practice net unless someone I don’t like wins!)

 

Thanks to everyone for the excellent support for the Ronnie Hiatt Shambles and presentation – it all went very well.

 

 

And finally I would like to thank you all for your support in my year of Captaincy and to wish Neil Smith and Caroline Hastilow both success and enjoyment during the coming year.
